Camp Mendocino is located 160 miles north of San Francisco, nestled in a redwood forest in Mendocino County, midway between Willits and Fort Bragg. The Camp is spread over 2,000 acres with the beautiful Noyo River running through the middle. The famous Skunk Train Railroad runs between Willits and Fort Bragg, stopping at Camp Mendocino.
The Camp provides a gorgeous environment and affordable rates for school groups, family camps, corporate retreats and trainings, church retreats and other group functions. Excellent opportunities for team building, planning, and leadership development.
As an outdoor education and environmental awareness program, Camp Mendocino is focused entirely on the character and leadership development of kids from disadvantaged circumstances. All proceeds from off-season use are reinvested in the Camp program and facilities.
Note: Camp requires groups to have liability insurance and to name BGCSF as “additional insured." The Camp is willing to work with prospective renters to help acquire this coverage for their rental.
If you don't have insurance, please print out our event liability form and submit to our insurance broker, Woodruff Sawyer at the following address. Once they received and approved the application, and received payment, they will contact us.
